About Me & My Services
Are you going through a difficult transition? Struggling to make sense of relationships or experiences? I may be able to help. My name is Han (they/them), and I'm a therapist based in Edinburgh with years of experience counselling young people and adults. In the counselling room, I bring with me this clinical perspective as well as my own understanding of the world and what it is to be human.
I am trained in both psychodynamic and person-centred approaches. I often work psychodynamically, exploring the connection between the past and the present. Other times, work with clients stays more in the here and now, grappling with confusing, painful experiences, emerging or developed identities, and relationships. I specialise in issues facing the LGBTQ+ community (especially transgender folks) as well as complex trauma and dissociation.

From my own experience and my work with clients, I have come to find that we walk through life holding, collecting, dispelling stories about us and the world around us. Therapy can be a place where we explore these stories and have the opportunity to create new ones.
